Some layers in the map have associated Metadata (data about the data). Metadata contains information on the contents of the layer (i.e. who compiled the data, when it was compiled, what standards were used, etc.) If a layer has associated Metadata it will appear as a hyperlink in the Layer List. Additional Metadata can be found by following the Metadata hyperlink on the Title Bar.
To access a layers Metadata:
Click on the layer of interest.

A new browser window will appear with the layer information presented.
